dayle wheeler, a creative at heart, established accessible art as a ‘lockdown project’ and continues to sculpt in his spare time. by day, he is the managing director of smartcrypto, a business that provides data, identity and payment solutions to the financial services industry. while travelling one day, he found himself staring at a bronze whale sculpture, thinking how much he’d enjoy it and imagining it in his home… until he looked at the price! dayle decided then that he would try and make the sculpture himself one day… when he has more time.then covid hit, and with the reality of lockdown and kids at home 24/7, he decided he needed art supplies to fill hi time. one thing led to another, and his sculpting journey began.
