Collection: lez flower
at 6 years old, lez was trading tiny hand painted portraits of her mother’s zimbabwe church congregation for flower seeds to beautify her fairy garden. her real work had begun.
the artworks in this series are imbued with a divine blessing, a pictorial signature, each embodying a specific healing frequency. a blessing creates a circle of light that protects, heals and strengthens. geometrical shapes and patterns (the language of the cosmos) are used in communication with nature as the source of all true knowledge.
the kaleidoscopic holographic artworks emerge from a deep spiritual wisdom and manifest in the interplay of layers of colour, light, pattern, line, texture and visual representations from nature. there is a lyrical symmetry that has the ability to entice and enchant the viewer creating a pause to reconnect the head and the heart.
each image is hand drawn and painted using traditional mixed-media techniques.
